Viewboxes – a small device which records a person’s dying sights – have brought crime rates to an all-time low worldwide. Every Detective starts their investigation by reviewing the final recording of their victim, yielding precision insight into the case. Viewboxes are thought to be infallible – until detectives Frank Deckard and AndreA Laughlyn catch a body with a fried box. With no suspects or recordings, Frank and Andrea are forced to resort to older, slower methods, tracking down a murderer who’s unlocked the secret to erasing their face from the scene of any crime.
